Classic Irish coffee

This coffee based cocktail is perfect for St Patricks Day that is coming. Filled with Irish whiskey, brown sugar and freshly brewed coffee, makes for a delicious hot drink. It is topped with cold whipped cream, it is simple and easy to make.

Equipment

  • Spoon
  • Heat proof glass

Ingredients
  

  • 30 ml Whiskey
  • 5 gm Brown sugar
  • 75 ml Black coffee hot
  • 50 ml Whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • In a heat proof glass, add the sugar, hot coffee, whiskey and stir well.
  • Spoon over the whipped cream gently. Serve immediately.
  • Optional - garnish with espresso powder/coffee powder/cocoa powder.

Notes

  • You could use a dash of Baileys before adding the whipped cream for a milky coffee flavor.
