1/4cupIcing sugar
1tspVanilla
Pinchfo Salt
1 1/2cupFlour
Strawberry jam

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180℃ and line a baking tray with baking paper. In a large mixing bowl we add the peanut butter, butter and mix with a spatula until pale creamy and combine. Add the sugar and mix again.
We then add the flour and stir it until the mixture is slowly coming together. Tip everything on the kitchen counter and work the dough together. It might seem dry but be patient. If the peanut butter is too stiff you might need to add a little water to bring the dough together.
Divide the dough into 16 pieces and roll each piece into little logs/cylinders. Place on the baking tray and give them a little more shape once on the tray.
Brush with egg wash and decorate with almonds and strawberry jam to make a bloody effect. Bake of 12 mins until puffed and cracked a bit on the surface.
When it comes out of the oven decorate with more jam. Let them cool and serve with some milk.
Notes
If using stiff peanut butter you will need 1-2 tbsp water to bring the dough together.
To keep this recipe eggless, you can leave out the egg wash at the end of the recipe.
