Spring Iced Tea
A simple sweet tea that is floral, fragrant and fresh. Very easy and quick to make in large batches, perfect as a welcome drink for a crowd.
- 1 tbsp Tea leaves
- 1 cup Hot water
- 1 cup Cold water
- 10 Ice cubes
- 10 Mint leaves
- 5 Lemon slices
- 5 Green apple slices
- 2 tsp Maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Add the tea leaves in a large jug. Pour over the hot water, cover and let it brew as per the packet instructions. The longer you brew it, the stronger the tea - obviously.
Remove the cover and pour in the cold water. Add the rest of your ingredients and stir. Give it a taste and adjust if needed.
Pour through a strainer in a glass. Serve with a few slices apples on a skewer.
- If you want the tea stronger, let it brew longer. You can even add more tea leaves if needed.
- You can use pear, plum, apricots in place of apples.
