10 Dessert Recipes To Make For Eid

Celebrate Eid with easy & delicious dessert recipes that are perfect for your table. They comfortably feed a crowd and there is something for everyone in here. 

I feel like it was just yesterday when I wrote my first recipe for the season of ramadan and here I am doing a round up of my favorite dessert recipes to make this Eid. If there is one thing we need to keep in mind when making desserts for Eid it has to be indulgently delicious. These recipes are just that. They are fantastic to feed a crowd and make for a yummy celebratory treat. 

However if you are looking for healthier desserts that are not extremely rich and heavy then you will love my 3 ingredient healthy chocolate mousse recipe that is vegan, gluten free and protein packed. My healthy brookie pie is chewy, crumbly and has the best of both worlds: cookies and Brownes! If you have overripe bananas hanging around then my healthy banana bread is a winner and crowd pleaser. If you want a cooling dessert then the bounty ice cream that is a no churn recipe and is accidentally vegan.

This cake is eggless but more importantly it has all the flavors of baklava. The crispy filo pastry is crunchy while the cake is fluffy and it is topped with a walnut and pistachio crust. A perfect celebration cake. This is my take on the classic baklava sweet treat. It is filled with nuts, filo pastry and orange blossom water making for the perfect Eid dessert.

Think sweet and salty in every bite. These chocolate brownies and fudgy and indulgent. They are chewy on the outside, and gooey on the inside. The halwa adds a delicious saltiness to balance out the sweetness from the brownies. They are a fantastic treat to bake, wrap and gift to your family and friends over the festive season of Eid. 

Chocolate Tahini Halva Brownies
These brownies are sweet, salty, fudgy, crunchy and all delicious. The perfect baking recipe for Eid, with chunks of halva, almonds and tahini swirled through, they make for a chocolate lovers dream this season.

This cake not only looks delicious but it is packed with so much flavor from the pistachios, limes, cardamom and rose. It might seem like a lot is happening in the cake but they work well together. The cake is very tender and tastes better the next day as the pistachios keep it moist for days. 

Pistachio Cardamom Lime Cake with Rose Icing
A tender and fluffy cake spiced with cardamom powder, lime zest and flavored with pistachio powder. It is draped with a pink rose icing that compliments the cake making for a pretty but mainly all delicious recipe.

This cake needs a mixing bowl and whisk to prepare the batter. It is a fantastic make ahead dessert that comes together in very little time, hence you can make this the night before and allow it to cool overnight. Also, this cake is perfect with pomegranate molasses and fresh berries.

Labneh & Honey Basque Cheesecake
Creamy and rich burnt Basque cheesecake but using labneh and cream cheese. This recipe is the perfect dessert to whip up for ramadan, needs one bowl and a whisk, make it ahead and allow it to cool in the fridge. Serve it with pomegranate molasses and fresh berries.

This cake is one batter but two flavors. The cake batter is divided into two parts and one of them is flavored with pistachio powder which gives this cake a gleaming green color once baked. Bake it in a bundt tin to make it look for fancy and festive. Make this cake and take it to your friends/families house during your celebrations. 

Pistachio Marble Cake
1 Batter and 2 Flavors. This cake is fragrant and tender to the crumb. Gleaming with the green pistachio swirls. The cardamom powder adds a mild hint of familiarity but the rose water icing brings the cake together with a floral note.

Not your traditional dessert recipe but I do not recall a celebration/occasion that does not include this recipe. This is my Mums semiya payasam and it is rich, creamy, so yummy and very simple to make. Serve it warm or fridge cold.

This rich pudding is fragrant and perfect for any occasion but fits perfectly for Eid. A few pantry staples is all you need and you’ve got yourself a traditional Indian dessert in no time and minimal effort.
