Diwali Dessert Ideas - 15 Recipes to satisfy your sweet tooth

These Indian fusion dessert recipes are a game changer. They are so delicious, feed a crowd and very simple to bring together. Think traditional flavors engulfed into a dessert that is rich, indulgent and so yummy!

Here is a secret that not a lot of you know. I have never been a fan of traditional Indian sweets. Let me explain before you come for me.

I love the flavors, textures and what they represent but it is not often you will find me making traditional ras malai or gulab jamun at home for Diwali or any occasion as it is not only tedious to make but also requires a lot of practice and skill to achieve. I am sure if I put my head into it I can do it but I like taking this flavors and recreating them to make my own recipes. Also, if you have ever tried Indian sweets aka mithai you will know that they are exceptionally sweet, like tooth numbingly sweet.

Also, (not like I need to add more reasons to this) these recipes are a definite crowd pleaser which means you can make them are bring it to a Diwali party that feeds a a lot of hungry mouths easily. The desserts can be doubled up to make them larger as well if needed. If you are think Indian desserts are complicated like I think they are then these are the only desserts you need to make in the next couple of weeks. If you want are looking for other recipes that are not necessarily Indian in flavor then check out my Easy Baking page which will give you some inspiration on recipes.

So without any further ado, let us get to the recipes. You can have a look at the recipe videos on my socials but let’s get to it. Don’t forget to follow along for more fun recipe inspiration.
