Refreshing Recipes To Make In January

These some of my recipes that are in to kick start the new year. They are delicious, simple and inspiring to get yourself into the kitchen and cook/bake for yourself. I make these on repeat all through the year but in January it is a must.

I think new year resolutions are so out dated now. Everything is either in or out. We are gravitating towards a fresh start and rightfully so – for the year we have had it only makes sense to hope for the best and plan for the worst (obviously, because we are not ape shit crazy). Having said this I am very realistic with my recipes in January. Yes I want wholesome but I also want simple and fuss free.

What I don’t want is a pseudo healthy list of dishes that do nothing to motivate me to cook. I want to make my own meals as much as I can only because I have eaten outside so much over the past month and I miss home food so if there is a time we need to get ourselves cooking with little effort but maximum pleasure then these are the recipes for you. Don’t get me wrong as I love every other recipe that is not on this list as well but these are must haves.

If you cook or bake then these recipes will be a joy for you but if you are not either of those people – let these recipes be an inspiration to you to get into the spirit of cooking a meal or baking a treat. Maybe take it up as a new hobby in 2025? Thank me later? I would also suggest when going through these recipes to also plan your meals around your lifestyle. If you start your days super early a breakfast on the go is your way out while if you end of your night late you will need a quick fix me up to get your tummy full before calling it a night. Some of these recipes are great to store in the fridge over the week to keep eating as needed as well.

Whatever the reason and season there is a recipe here for everyone, hope you give them a go and if you do, share your thoughts with me on how you went about it. I love nothing more than to hear about your cooking and baking adventures with my recipes. You can find more inspiration on the recipes section. For now, lets get to it and Happy Eating!
