Caesar salad dressing recipe in 5 mins

An easy caesar salad recipe comes with an easier dressing. This recipe is so simple to make and very delicious - not to mention it is healthier and more wholesome filled with greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise and it tastes WAY BETTER!

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Fork/mortar & pestle
  • Microplane

Ingredients
  

  • 2 anchovy fillets canned
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 a lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt as needed

Instructions
 

  • Start by grind the anchovies until its a paste - either in mortar and pestle or with a fork.
  • Transfer to a bowl and add the minced garlic, lemon juice Italian herbs, greek yogurt, olive oil, black pepper powder, parmesan cheese.
  • Whisk well until combined. Adjust the seasoning with salt as needed.
  • Transfer to an air tight container and jar and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can make this dressing in a blender as well to make life easier.
  • Anchovy haters — you do not taste the anchovies here so don’t be afraid to use it.
