High Protein Hot Honey Beef Bowls (VIRAL TikTok Recipe)

These high protein bowls are packed with cottage cheese, ground beef, sweet potato, avocado and drizzled with hot honey. It is a simple and healthy meal to prepare in little time but also tastes very delicious and is filling.

Ingredients
  

  • 350 g sweet potato diced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 250 g lean ground beef
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 100 ml bone broth
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1/2 lime juice
  • 2 small avocado
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp hot honey

Instructions
 

  • Roast or air fry sweet potatoes until tender. I cooked mine in oven at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes with oil, salt and pepper.
  • In a sauté pan, brown the lean ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks through. Add the garam masala, cumin powder, garlic ginger paste, salt, pepper and mix well.
  • Add bone broth and continue to cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Once cooked through squeeze lime juice, set aside.
  • In a serving bowl add the cooked ground beef, cottage cheese, avocado and sweet potato.
  • Drizzle over the hot honey and serve.

Notes

  • Swap the ground beef for ground turkey or canned tuna as well.

  • Instead of garam masala you can use pre mixed taco seasoning.
