Thanksgiving Sangria

A fruity drink recipe perfect for party. Filled with white wine, rose wine, apple cider, maple syrup, brandy and cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups White wine
  • 1 cup Rose wine
  • 1/4 cup Brandy
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup Apple cider

Flavorings-

  • 1/2 Apple sliced
  • 1/2 Orange sliced
  • 1/2 Lemon sliced
  • 1/3 cup Cranberries fresh
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 3 Star anise

To serve-

  • Pumpkin spice
  • Castor sugar
  • Lemon wedge

Instructions
 

  • In a large pitcher, add the white wine, rose wine, brandy, lemon juice, maple syrup and stir together.
  • Add the cranberries, cinnamon sticks, star anise, apple slices, orange slices, lemon slices and stir. Top the pitcher with apple cider.
  • Wipe the rip of your glasses with the lemon wedge. Mix the pumpkin spice and sugar in a plate, rim the glass with the spiced sugar and pour the sangria into it. Garnish with more fruit.
  • Notes:
  • I would recommend chilling the white wine and rose wine before hand or else you will need ice to make this sangria.
  • You can use any fruit you like - ideally something in season.
