Easy Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte (in 5 mins)

This is the easiest iced matcha latte you will make using fresh strawberries, it is perfect for the summer and cooling to say the least. It is simple, quick and a refreshing drink recipe.

I have been seeing this green, white and pink drink everywhere. I have never tried a strawberry matcha latte and it took me a minute to understand that just because it says latte doesn’t mean we need to have coffee in it. This is now my go to drink for the summer, coming from a matcha lover it is simple to make and very delicious not to mention satisfying. It is epic on how easy it is to prepare with little effort you can be drinking this in little time.

You could also use your favorite strawberry jam instead of fresh strawberries to make this latte. I have kept it simple with just milk but you could absolutely top the latte with a milk foam/heavy cream/half and half. It is iced and for the best reasons as summer has been kicking me in my gut. Also if you are looking for a classic hot matcha latte check out my recipe here. If you needed a cookie to match this drink then my strawberry matcha marble cookie will not disappoint. In no way is this drink a cafe inspired recipe – it is simple, realistic and comes together in under 5 minutes and works like a charm.

What ingredients do you need to make this strawberry matcha latte?

This latte is so simple to make and needs very few ingredients. We need fresh strawberries or your favourite strawberry jam/preserve, matcha powder, milk, sugar, ice and hot water. I have also use fresh strawberries for the garnish. If you like your latte topped with cream you can use it for the top.

Food paring with this drink recipe?

You can serve this with my strawberry matcha cookies. They are chewy, soft, sugary and delicious. You can also serve it for breakfast or brunch as it comes together easily. Also, I would suggest serving it with my potato crust quiche or the whole lemon loaf cake.
