A simple mocktail recipe with your favourite jam, lemon juice, sparkling water and fresh strawberries. It is refreshing and perfect drink to stir up easily in under 5 minutes. Also, this is Barbies favorite drink.
We all need a simple but delicious, effective but pretty mocktail recipe. Don’t let the word mocktail make it sound fancy, it is very easy to prepare and needs less than 5 ingredients to make. No fancy equipment needed as well. The beauty is, you can use your favourite jam and fruit to customize this recipe.
To make this recipe we need strawberry jam (my favourite) but you can use any Berri jam, orange marmalade or even apricot jam. Preserves also work well here, I would recommend jelly too. You can use blueberry jelly and its delish! We need a little lemon juice and sparkling water. But I prefer using cab soda. You can use 7 up or sprite etc.
We don’t need any fancy equipment to make this drink, the jam and lemon juice are stirred in the serving glass to break up the jam. Add the ice cubes or crushed ice and top with your favorite club soda or sparkling water. I have also made this recipe with champagne, to make it more celebratory and it is delicious. This recipe can be made with gin or vodka if you want to spice things up a little.
I would recommend serving this drink with breakfast or brunch items like eggs, quiches, salads, sandwiches or cakes. It is fruity and fresh making for a very good pairing with seafood too. It does do well with avocado toast and pastas for veggie options. These are some of the recipes I recommend:
Now that we have covered how to make Strawberry Jam Lemonade, you can have a look at the recipe video on my socials but let’s get to it. Don’t forget to follow along for more fun drink recipes inspiration.
If you try this recipe out, don’t forget to share it with me on instagram so I can see how it turned out. I’d love nothing more than to chat with you on your cooking/baking.
