TO MAKE THE APPLE SYRUP - In a sauce pot, we add the leftover apple peels and core. If you don’t have any leftover apples you can use whole apples that are diced, however you need this syrup to make this latte. Add the the maple syrup, cinnamon, brown sugar, bourbon, pinch of salt, cornstarch and water into the sauce pot and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and add let the mixture simmer. Until thicker and syrupy. Let it cool before you strain it, label and place in the fridge.
You can make this cold by serving it with cold brew and some ice before adding the whipped cream.
