Mixing bowl
Fork
Knife
Chopping board
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 whole jalapeño pickled and finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 small tomato finely chopped
- 1/2 small onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro finely chopped
- 1 whole lime juice
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt & Pepper to taste
In a large mixing bowl add the ripe avocados and smash using a fork until chunky.
Add the remaining chopped ingredients with the seasoning and smash again. I like it to be a little chunky so don’t go crazy with the mashing.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Serve with crispy tortilla chips.
- The avocados must be ripe or else they will not get mashed easily or have that creamy texture.
- Store it in the fridge, covered after mixing or else it will loose its color.
