No Churn 4 Ingredient Strawberry Ice Cream

This creamy, luscious, fruity and delicious strawberry no churn ice cream is perfect for summer and tastes like fresh strawberries. It is so simple to make with a few ingredients and needs no fancy equipment to bring together as well. The perfect summer dessert recipe.

Equipment

  • Blender/liquidizer
  • Spatula
  • Mixing bowl
  • Container (to set the ice cream)

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g frozen strawberries
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 500 ml whipping cream
  • 75 g condensed milk

Optional -

  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a liquidizer add the strawberries (leaving a couple to chop into pieces for later), lemon juice, condensed milk and 100ml of the whipping cream. Blend until smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl add the remaining cream and beat until stiff peaks.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream, add the chopped strawberries and fold together until combined.
  • Transfer to a tin and cover, place in the freezer for a couple of hours.
  • Scoop and serve as needed.

Notes

Blend the frozen strawberries with a little cream and condensed milk to help it liquidize. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender every now and then.
