Ingredients
Rose syrup -
1cupwater
1/4cupsugar
1cuprose petalsI used dried
1tsprose water
1-2piecesof beetroot
Rose milk -
1tbsprose syrup
1/2cupmilk
2tbspwhipped cream
Optional -
rose syrup ice cubes
Sugarfor decoration
Instructions
In a small sauce pot add the water, rose petals, sugar, beetroot and boil. Let it reduce for 5-8 mins.
Take it off the heat and add the rose water.
Strain and pour into a glass container. Let it cool and store in the fridge. At this point you can pour it syrup into an ice cube tray and place int he freezer until it forms ice.
To make the rose milk add 1 tbsp of the cooled syrup with 1/2 cup milk and stir well. Top with whipped cream and rose syrup ice cubes.
Serve chilled.
Notes
You don’t need to add the whipped cream, it is totally optional.
If you want the flavor stronger, add more syrup into the milk.
