We start by preheating the oven to 180 ℃ and line a 4 inch tin with baking paper.
In a small mixing bowl add the wet ingredients and whisk. Add the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 18-20 mins until golden and risen. You know the cake is ready when you poke a tooth pick into the center and it comes out clean. L
et it cool down before decorating and serving.
To make the frosting -
Mix the ingredients together until smooth. Do not over mix the frosting as it will become runny.
Assembly -
Top the cooled cake with the frosting and add sprinkles. Slice and serve.
Notes
Don’t over mix the batter or else it will become dense once baked.
You can frost the cake with whipped cream and fresh fruit too.
