50 Chocolate Lover Recipes To Make 2025

With world chocolate day around the corner, here are 50 of my most treasured chocolate recipes that have something for everyone. They are indulgent, rich, delicious and absolutely yummy.

It is no secret that my love for chocolate recipes and desserts run deep. With world chocolate day around the corner it seemed only fitting to share some of my most treasured and favourite recipes that are fit for any chocolate lover. The recipes itself are a list of no bake desserts, cakes, frozen treats, cookies, etc. Some of them are elaborate while others are easy peasy and can be whipped up in little time.

7th July is considered as World Chocolate Day while 13th September is considered as International Chocolate Day, there is no actual record or distinction on why 7th July is considered to be world chocolate day but the confectionery was first brought to Europe in 1550 and the first celebration was in 2009. As for the International celebration – it is mainly conducted in America. However, I do not need a reason to be baking with chocolate or eating it for that matter.

A little information on chocolate, the word is traced back to the Aztec word “xocoatl,” and the name for the cacao plant, Theobroma cacao, means “food of the gods.” But before chocolate became the sweet worldwide phenomenon we know today, Mesoamerican cultures made bitter drinks with the cacao bean according to the Natural History Museum Of Utah. The best way to celebrate is by eating, baking, cooking, with it. I haven’t tried my hand at cooking with it much but I think I will give it a go soon. The best chocolate (world’s no.1 chocolate) is Friis-Holm Chokolade (Denmark) was the most awarded with 16 prizes, including 7 silvers and 9 bronzes.

If you didn’t know, chocolate is a food made from the roasted and ground seeds of the cacao tree, which is also known as the cocoa bean. Which are processed further to create cocoa solids and cocoa butter. When you add sugar to and milk to this mixture is when you various types of chocolate. Hence chocolate contains cacao beans, cocoa solids, cocoa butter, sugar, milk, flavorings. You can find it in a variety of forms, from liquid to solid to pastes. The most commonly found chocolate is dark, milk and white.

If you try these recipes out, don’t forget to share it with me on pinterest & instagram so I can see how it turned out. I’d love nothing more than to chat with you on your cooking/baking.
