I have to start by saying thank you for being a part of this little food community and allowing me into your kitchen. Having said that there are some must have recipes to kickstart the year.
Now, what comprises of a must have recipe for January? They have to be easy and inviting – meaning they should make you want to get into the kitchen and cook/bake. These recipes need to brush away those post holiday blues and make them vibrant, delicious and fun. In saying all of this, these recipes should also have a healthier touch/element to it since most of use are looking to get fitter and have a fresh start to the year with our food. I have and picked some of my favourite recipes that cover healthy aspects, they are easy to make, comforting, classic in some way or the other and definitely delicious.
