July is one of my favourite months to be in the kitchen – that’s a lie, I love being in the kitchen every month, but it is my birthday month and my mums birthday too, it also happens to be world chocolate day on 7th so there is a lot to celebrate. The days are definitely longer and hotter, the produce is showing off at the moment, and the recipes naturally become lighter, fresher, brighter, and a little more relaxed. Whether you’re baking with juicy mangoes, sweet berries, ripe tomatoes, peaches, or fresh herbs, July is all about letting seasonal ingredients do the work.
